Business Development Lead | Green Hydrogen & Ammonia @ Major global energy and water infrastructure developer.

Company:

• Mega-scale developer and operator of major power and desalination plants, active in >10 countries, with close to 100 operating assets.
• Project sizes are large, typically ranging from >100MW to GW scale.
• Looking to make first hire in Japan to build key partnerships with Japanese players in the green H2/NH3 market

Role:

This will the first local hire in Japan.  You will lead business development, originating and developing partnerships for full value chain of Hydrogen and Ammonia projects with major Japanese players.

• Leverage existing relationships the business has with potential Japanese investors/offtakers - major trading houses, EPCOs, oil & gas exploration firms etc.
• Work with HQ team to progress partnership discussions, compare partners and facilitate commercial negotiations to identify and execute on optimal business cases.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes such as METI subsidies, prefectural level developments such as developing hydrogen hubs and developing local industries.
