One of the biggest global medical device companies is opening a new international position for opening a new business. The new Senior Commercial Manager will report directly to APAC and cover subordinates in the APAC region, while building up a team in Japan.This position is responsible for leading and executing commercial service strategies,developing business opportunities, building up new procedures and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key responsibilities:

Plan and monitor regional sales activities to consistently achieve established revenue targets and market share goals.

Develop and implement business strategies for both existing accounts and new market opportunities.

Manage daily operations of the sales team to ensure alignment with the organization’s overarching commercial strategy.

Build and maintain deep relationships with key account personnel to support clinical programs and market development.

Identify and launch new selling programs and processes based on thorough competitive analysis.

Coach and mentor sales teams on technical product knowledge, sales techniques, and marketing promotions.

Oversee talent management for the team, including hiring, performance reviews, and professional development.

Structure complex projects and prioritize team workflows to ensure operational efficiency.

Drive transformational change and develop new operating policies to improve financial performance and company image.

Coordinate across internal functions and external stakeholders to gain cooperation and resolve complex business issues.
Requirements

7+ years of commercial experience in medical device covering P&L responsibility

Proven leadership experience managing teams of sales professionals or other managers.

Mastery-level knowledge of sales and business development within the medical device or healthcare industry.

Strong ability to analyze complex, undefined problems and implement effective strategic solutions.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across different business units.

Experience in planning and executing tactical operational plans that impact functional results.

Ability to manage and prioritize the responsibilities of a large, diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
