Description

Company: Experts at the Tokyo office are currently developing offshore and onshore wind projects with a power generation capacity of 1 GW or more, either independently or in collaboration with partners, throughout Japan in collaboration with various specialized units at the EUR headquarters.

Japan focus: On/Offshore business, 

Position Overview: Finance/Strategy Manager

  • Preparing and presenting decision material for tenders and auctions to senior management.
  • Providing input to long-term financial planning at business unit and portfolio level.
  • Collaborating with and managing a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders within the company, as well as your immediate colleagues in the various finance teams locally and internationally.
  • Helping to shape the projects and identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models for valuing investment opportunities.
  • Also handling business development (commercial side) side as well.

Requirements:

  • Financial modeling knowledge / experience with certificates in FMVA, CFA, or related as a plus
  • Have excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills in order to ensure complex financial matters are understood by all stakeholders across different geographies and cultural backgrounds
  • Renewable energy or infrastructure experience a plus, but not required.
  • Able to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced project environment where you maintain an overview over the financial side of our business, ensuring the integrity of our business cases and financial commitments.
  • Business English or higher and Native/Fluent Japanese required.
