Head of Supply Chain – Japan to lead end-to-end supply chain operations for the Japanese market within a Fortune 500 company.

This is a senior leadership role overseeing 100+ employees, with responsibility across planning, procurement, logistics, manufacturing coordination, inventory, and S&OP, as well as indirect oversight of the Customer Service function.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute Japan’s supply chain strategy aligned with global leadership

  • Lead and develop a large, multi-function organization (100+ staff)

  • Drive operational excellence, cost optimization, and service levels

  • Partner closely with Japan leadership, Sales, Finance, and global SCM teams

  • Oversee customer service performance through tight supply chain integration

 

Requirements

  • 10+ years of supply chain experience in a multinational environment

  • Proven leadership of large teams (100+ people)

  • Strong end-to-end SCM expertise

  • Fluent Japanese & English (mandatory)

  • Experience working in matrix / global organizations
