Description
Reporting to the APAC Director, the Education Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling comprehensive clinical and professional education programs. You will be the architect of how healthcare professionals (HCPs) and internal sales teams master complex, life-saving medical technologies. This role is critical for driving product adoption, ensuring patient safety, and establishing the company as the "Standard of Care" in the Japanese market.
Key Responsibilities

Create and execute an educational roadmap for both internal staff and external customers (Surgeons, Nurses, and Technicians) aligned with the Japan Business Unit’s growth strategy.

Lead the development of high-level clinical workshops, "Train-the-Trainer" programs, and peer-to-peer educational events. Partner with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to create localized clinical content and evidence-based training modules.

Design and deliver technical onboarding and continuous certification programs for the sales and clinical application teams to ensure elite-level proficiency in the field.

Ensure all educational activities strictly adhere to local pharmaceutical/medical device regulations (PMDA/MHLW) and internal compliance ethical standards.
Qualifications & Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in the Medical Device or Life Sciences industry, with at least 3 years specifically dedicated to Clinical Education, Sales Training, or Clinical Applications.

Background as a Registered Nurse (RN), Clinical Engineer (CE), or similar clinical credential is highly preferred.

Proven ability to simplify complex clinical/technical concepts for diverse audiences. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage external vendors and internal cross-functional stakeholders.

Native-level Japanese and Business-level English (ability to collaborate with Global/APAC education teams).
